Mortgage Payments Behind on your Austin, Texas House? Stop Foreclosure with a Fast Home Sale!

Posted by admin | buy house | Wednesday 25 November 2009 1:30 am

According to ABC news, more than 2.3 million American homeowners faced foreclosure proceedings last year, which was an 81 percent increase from 2007. And as of March 2009, about 5 million are currently in default, or at least one month behind, on their mortgage.

So does it have to be all “Doom and Gloom” or are there REAL solutions for homeowners facing this stress? The truth of the matter is there are several solutions to this problem, but it is very common for homeowners to not be aware of all their options. Foreclosure is NOT the only possible outcome. Neither is listing with a Realtor to try to sell fast. Neither is trying to get refinanced.

So if payments are behind on your Austin Texas home, what are your options?

In times like these, most homeowners believe they only have 4 options:

  1. List with a realtor (But do you have time to wait for it to sell? What if it doesn’t sell? No Equity?)
  2. Refinance (Thousands of homeowners try only to be turned down because they are behind in payments, have less-than-perfect credit, or have little-to-no equity! And it would cost at least $4,000-5,000 to refinance the average Austin Texas home.)
  3. Reinstate your loan (Do you have the amount of $$$ your lender is asking for?)
  4. Do nothing and just let the bank foreclose on it (There are many better options, and they can be EASY, too! Plus, if the foreclosure sale is not enough to pay off the mortgage in full, the lender can still come after the borrower for the difference. Yikes!)

But WAIT! There’s a 5th option! = Sell your Austin Texas house to us! We are THE fast Austin Texas Home-Buyers, RedBuysHouses.com. We’re a local, professional real estate investment group that buy houses all over Austin, TX in any area, condition or price range (even no equity) and in virtually any situation.

We buy houses in Austin, Texas and the surrounding areas such as Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Lakeway, Buda, Kyle and more. We specialize in finding several CREATIVE solutions to real estate problems that others won’t touch. So, if your payments are behind, the last thing you’d want to do is NOTHING!…Sadly, when times are tough, many homeowners don’t know what to do. Many, many houses have been foreclosed on in recent months because homeowners are not aware of the many alternatives to foreclosure or because:

  • they expect some money will be found/earned/won/inherited/borrowed to make up back payments in time (Since this isn’t likely, why not at least learn what the other, readily available options are to have a Plan B ready?)
  • they’re embarrassed by the situation. (PLEASE…Don’t let this be the reason you don’t do anything. Things happen in life that can make payments late, and RedBuysHouses.com understands that and wants to help!)
  • they’re afraid and unsure of who to trust (Again, there are trustworthy people out there who want to help…RedBuysHouses.com is an Accredited business with the Better Business Bureau and works with an experienced team of house-buyers who have helped THOUSANDS of homeowners during tough times!)
  • their lenders don’t return any of their phone calls. If they send in any partial payments, it is very common for the lender to send it back. (Dealing with lenders can be very frustrating and confusing!)
  • they didn’t think the bank would “really” foreclose on their house. (Remember, if you get behind on payments and do not do anything, your lender WILL foreclose on your house, even if you have a good relationship with them.)
  • they were not aware that there was help available. (If you remember anything from this article, know that there is help available for you.)

So, if your payments are behind, the last thing you’d want to do is NOTHING! What is your Garden Costing You?

Posted by admin | garden yard | Saturday 21 November 2009 1:30 am

It can be a scary exercise to sit down and work out exactly what is spent every year, on the average home gardens and lawns.

Try adding up the costs of plants, weedicides, pesticides, fungicides, fertilisers, petrol, mower and trimmer maintenance, weed eater cord, garden mulch and even water costs. Even the time and effort we go to in order to maintain a good-looking environment for our families and ourselves can amount to a substantial price.

So it is no wonder that many people are looking at ways to save money for more important causes.

One of the first things that you can do to save money, is to make use of as much of that organic matter that many people throw in the bin or wash down the sink.

For instance do you throw out your lawn clippings? Do you dutifully wrap up and throw out those old veggie scraps?

Are you one of those people who regularly get the trailer out and make trips down to the landfill with a pile of branch prunings?

What about those pile of leaves you threw in the bin last autumn?

Do you realise that all of those things can be turned into a wonderful form of plant food, as well as being used as a barrier to prevent the soil from loosing moisture and therefore increasing the amount of time between watering your garden. An organic mulch will also improve the soil structure, increase the good animals like worms while assisting in decreasing the nasty pests living in the soil.

By keeping these sorts of things within your own garden you are also assisting in reducing the effects that city living is having on the environment in landfill problems and costs.

There are a number of different ways that you can recycle these piles of organic matter within your own yard. One is to apply the bulk organic matter directly to your garden beds, ensuring that you don’t pile the material directly up against the trunks or main stems of the plants. A second idea to get a worm farm and recycle your kitchen waste that way; the worms provide you with a very strong and nutritious fertilising liquid for the garden as a bonus. This liquid is so strong it has to be diluted 10-1.

Don’t, by the way, put meat products, citrus peels or onion and garlic in with the worms. A third way is to purchase or construct your own compost pile/bin/tumbler and recycle the material that way.

So just by composting your old leaves, soft cuttings, veggie and fruit scraps, chipped branches, lawn clippings etc., you can do a lot to reduce your costs that you would have spent on such things as garden mulch and fertilisers as well as assisting your plants to last much longer between watering periods. So as you can see there are a number of reasons for not throwing away all that organic material.

Home Electrical Supplies

Posted by admin | home electrical lighting | Tuesday 17 November 2009 1:30 am

The flow of electrical power or charge is called electricity. It is a basic part of nature. It is also one of our most widely used forms of energy. Electricity in the home was not available 100 years ago. Houses used kerosene lamps and food was cooled in boxes. Heating was done through wood burning or coal burning stoves.

The demand for electricity in the home has grown through the years. The use of electricity in its early days was focused on street lighting and few industrial purposes. Wiring existing buildings were relatively high-priced making it impractical for homes to get electricity in the homes during that time (late 1980s).

Electricity was incorporated with new houses and apartments during the early 90s. In suburban areas, electricity in the homes was not achieved until the interwar period.

Electricity’s uses expand along with the continuous invention and development of appliances. Consequently, the demand for home electrical supplies also increase. Different appliances need different amounts of power for them to operate. Those that require large amounts of power are considered expensive to operate and those that don’t are considered power efficient.

Homes pay for the amount of electricity they use. Electric retail systems were developed to allow electricity to enter homes. This is done by mounting wires on poles or by special insinuation and protection of underground cables or cables hung on posts. The active phase wire and the neutral wire connect an electrical circuit from the distribution pole into the home.

Before entry of electricity into homes, it passes through meters in a meter box. Meter boxes are accurate devices measuring the amount of electrical energy used. A series of dials each with 10 numbers allows the meter to measure this.

The numbers in the meter may be arranged anticlockwise or clockwise to represent tens of thousands, thousands, hundreds, tens, or units of the amount of electrical energy. One kilowatt hour (kWH) equals one unit of electrical energy.

Home electrical supplies refer to all products and accessories that require electricity to operate and are used in residential buildings such as houses, apartments, and dormitories. The products under home electrical supplies range from vast choices of lighting supplies, heating supplies, alarms, security and CCTV supplies, ventilation supplies, water heaters, wiring accessories, electrical cable supplies, cable accessories, distribution and switchgear, control gear, plugs and sockets, electrical test equipment, electrical fixing, tools, conduit accessories, switches, and fuses.

Simple Home Decorating Tips Anyone Can Use

Posted by admin | home interior decoration | Friday 13 November 2009 1:30 am

Every homeowner has the constant desire to want to create a presentable environment in their house. It is only natural – if you make such a large investment as a house, you should maintain it to the best of your abilities. Using simple techniques to decorate your house, you can increase the aesthetics by a huge amount. It can be very expensive to hire a professional home decorator, and it is quite frankly unnecessary. Professional home decorators are simply people who have learned to spot certain fundamental truths about home aesthetics. So if you feel the need to decorate or redecorate your home, you should consider all of the following aspects.
The first step to home decorating is having tasteful furniture and accessories. This doesn’t mean you have to buy a ridiculously expensive set from a furniture store. You can do with thrift store goods if you’re careful. When you first start picking (or replacing) your furniture, you should decide on a certain theme that you want to stick with. You can buy furniture that is mostly made out of wood. If you buy a can of wood stain from your local home improvement store, you can magically match all of your furniture when previously they completely contrasted each other. Alternatively, you may decide to go with a modern theme, or any other number of themes and sub-themes used by decorators. You can get ideas from decorating magazines, stores, or homes of friends.
Once you’ve got your furniture and accessories all generally matching, you can consider your walls and carpets. Of course, this stage of the decorating depends on how much you want to overhaul your home, and how much you are willing to spend in time and money. The fact of the matter is, your carpet and walls are most likely not the best match for the rest of your house, since the builders of your home could not have known what sort of furniture you would have. Painting the walls is a relatively easy project, and you can do it in a weekend if you plan it out right. A tastefully-colored wall can lend a lot of aesthetic value to your home.
The hardest part of decorating your home is noticing small touches that you can make to lend to and improve the overall mood and theme of the house. The reason it’s hard is that you can’t analyze any specific aspect of your house and figure out how to change it for the better. Instead, you have to look at the big picture and creatively imagine things that you could be doing differently. If this doesn’t come naturally to you, then you can use many different sources as inspiration. But a few magazines next time you’re at the store, and look at the rooms pictured within. Most of them have likely been designed by professionals. You can look for the small details that give the room its great style, and figure out ways to apply the same thing to your home. Just make sure that the small details fit the color scheme and style of your overall decor.
The lighting of your rooms is also a very important aspect. When you have a very well-thought-out furniture layout, and specific decorations everywhere, usually the default lighting layout will not suffice. Think about changing the lighting to a different part of the room to change the focus. Think about putting a lamp on a table or even a track lighting system on the ceiling. There are many different options, and if you choose the right one then you can masterfully focus the attention of visitors to the parts of the room that you want them to be looking at.
Home decorating is never easy or quick, which is why so many people are tempted to spend a lot of money for professional advice. But before you do that, find out what exactly you are capable of, and see what you can do for your house.
